Sofia and Sam celebrated their marriage in April 2023 at Shustoke Barn, a picturesque 18th-century wedding venue nestled in Coleshill, Birmingham.
The floral vision for this couple’s special day was unstructured flower arrangements that exuded romance and elegance. The bride chose a colour palette of delicate pale blush, white, green and taupe. To introduce texture and visual interest, we incorporated fluffy grasses, dried and preserved flowers.
Bridal Bouquet
The star attractions of Sofia’s bouquet were exquisite Japanese garden roses, paired with scented eucalyptus, olive, and graceful dried grasses. To add an extra touch of refinement, each bouquet was adorned with hand-dyed silk ribbons.
The Flower Arch
For Sofia and Sam’s ceremony, we aimed to create an unforgettable moment. With this in mind, we adorned a custom-made moon gate with an abundance of flowers and foliage, transforming it into a breath taking focal point.
This magnificent floral arch, overflowing with luxurious garden roses and lush foliage, left the guests in awe and provided the perfect backdrop for Sofia and Sam’s vows.
My experience with Ashley has been incredible. She created the most amazing flowers for our wedding.
Sofia
I was so blown away on the day. My bouquet was perfect and everything I imagined it to be and the room was dressed so beautifully, everything was perfect.
The Wedding Breakfast
For the evening’s reception at Shustoke Barn, we repurposed the moon gate as a fun “selfie station” for the couple’s delighted guests. The wedding breakfast the tables were decorated with carefully arranged bud vases. These vases, collected by the bride herself, showcased a delightful combination of fresh and dried blooms.
