Davenport House Wedding

by | Aug 14, 2022 | 0 comments

Lois and Harry got married on the 1st August 2022 at the gorgeous Davenport House near Bridgnorth in Shropshire.

Davenport House is a beautiful Georgian style mansion that looks like it’s come straight out of Bridgerton!

Lois and Harry had an intimate and relaxed day, filled with joy. The happy couple celebrated their big day surrounded by their family and close friends.

Lois and Harry opted for a bright sunset inspired colour scheme and relaxed styling for their wedding florals.

August is the perfect time for British flowers. I used exclusively locally grown blooms for their bridal flowers and table centrepieces.

Dahlias and David Austin Juliette roses are the stars of the show. Arranged beautifully in gold urns and bud vases. The colours really pop on the crisp white table cloths at Davenport House.

For Lois’s bouquet I created a gorgeous cascading design filled with a riot of British blooms, garden roses and dahlias, finished off with a trailing pure silk ribbon.

Lois’s bridesmaids sported a delicate fresh flower wrist corsages on silk ribbons. Wrist corsages are a lovely contemporary and cost effective alternative to bouquets.

Absolutely stunningly perfect flowers. We knew they’d be beautiful but we were blown away on the day. Thank you so much Ashley!!

Lois and Harry’s photographer Steph captured the beauty of their special day perfectly.

My top tip for wedding planning is choose a decent photographer. It really is worth the investment and results in the most amazing record of your wedding day to enjoy forever!
