Aurore and Eric- Olivier chose a traditional church wedding ceremony. They tied the knot at their parish church in Oldbury, Birmingham. Followed by a reception and party at the Park Hall Hotel and Spa in Wolverhampton.
The couple love flowers and wanted dramatic arrangements for their wedding.
After talking through lots of floral options, Aurore and Eric-Olivier chose a colour palette of white and green, with gold accents. This resulted in a chic and classic theme.
To create a feeling of drama we incorporated pampas grasses and tropical leaves into the table centrepieces and floral pillars.
The Church
The entrance of the church was flanked by two large fresh flower pillars created using an abundance of seasonal foliage and pretty white florals.
Inside the church we decorated the aisles with fresh eucalyptus swags. We also placed four large and dramatic pedestal arrangements around the church. The overall effect of the church displays made a real statement.
In order to get the most out of Aurore and Eric-Olivier’s flowers after the ceremony we transported the church décor and floral pillars to their reception at Park Hall Hotel and Spa in Wolverhampton.
Aurore’s Bouquet
Aurore and her four bridesmaids carried beautiful bouquets featuring bouncy white hydrangea, perfumed garden roses and stocks, cute gerbera and plenty of fragrant and draping foliage.
The Reception
At the reception we used a combination of heights for the table centrepieces so that the guest’s view weren’t obscured. The tables were decorated with rose petals and customised candle favours in black, green, white and gold. The overall effect looked opulent and dramatic.
We also moved the flower arch inside the reception room for the evening guests to enjoy!
