Set in a stunning waterside location, The Mill Barns Exclusive Use Wedding Venue is a dream setting for a modern barn wedding. With its dramatic wooden beams, stylish contemporary feel, and breath-taking outdoor spaces, it provided the perfect backdrop for Jennifer and Ollie’s elegant yet relaxed celebration.
The Floral Design Process
Jennifer wanted her bouquet to be soft and romantic but with a fun, modern twist. To achieve this, I blended delicate dried blooms with preserved flowers, ensuring the perfect mix of texture and movement. The bridesmaids carried coordinating bouquets, creating a cohesive and stylish look that complemented their stunning sage green dresses.

The Dried Flower Crown
Jennifer also wore a bespoke dried flower crown, handcrafted to match her bouquet. The soft pinks and whites worked beautifully against her gorgeous lace wedding dress, adding a boho-chic feel to her bridal look.
Buttonholes with a Twist
For the groom and groomsmen, we created dried flower pocket square boutonnieres instead of traditional pin-on buttonholes. These unique pieces brought a modern edge to their wedding day attire while tying in perfectly with the overall floral theme.
