About the Church and Billesley Manor:

Legend has it that Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway in 1582 at this pretty, rural church nestled in the Warwickshire countryside, just a stone’s throw from the impressive Billesley Manor. Certainly his granddaughter, Elizabeth Nash, was married here in 1646. The church stopped being used in 1978 and is currently looked after Churches Conservation Trust.
